Descriptive Logs

Middle Ages
-Formed from the middle period in traditional European History
-Are dated from the fall of the western Roman Empire.
-Witnessed the first urbanization of Northern and Western Europe
-Currently referred to as the Medieval Period
-For safety and defense they formed small communities around a lord or a master.

-Feudalism
-Relates to a general and set of legal military things among warrior nobility of Europe during the middle ages.
-Revolved around the key concepts of lords, vassals, and Fiefs.
-It has been known to be used in the 17Th Century.
-Comes from the french word Feodalisme- a word used during the middle ages.
-A historgraphic construct designating the social, economic and political conditions in Western Europe

-Bubonic Plague
-The most deadly and best known infectious disease
-it is mainly found in rodents and fleas
-In 1894 it was isolated in Hong Kong.
-There are two more types of plagues Pneumonic which involves the lungs and Septicmetic which involves bleeding in the skin.
-Vladamir Havkin was the first to create a treatment.

-Secular
-Being separated from your religion.
-Examples praying, worshipping and attending Sunday school is non secular activities.
-Comes from the Latin word meaning "of the age"
-Occurring once in an age or century.
-The public university in United Kingdom is secular.

-Renaissance Man
-A man who excels in multiple fields.
-His real name is Sir Walter Raleigh
-He earned his name because he was a very popular man
-Walter was well known and was copied by many.
-Was also known as a polymath.

-Renaissance
-A cultural movement that went through the 14Th and 17Th century.
-Began in Italy during the middle ages.
-Had many consequences
-But it's best known for its artistic aspect.
-Had been used to describe other historical and cultural movements.

-Protestant Reformation
-A movement in Europe that started with Martin Luther.
-Mainly involved the teachings and sale of indulgences.
-The most important protestants group was the Lutherans.
-Is also referred to as the reformation revolution.
-Protestants trace their roots back to initial reformation tradition.

-Johann Gutenberg
-He invented the Printing Press.
-His biggest piece of work was the Gutenberg Bible also known as the 42 line bible.
-Was born in Germany
-The youngest son of the upper class merchant Friele

-Martin Luther
-Is to be considered the founder of protestantism
-His knowledge challenged the authority of the papacy by emphasizing the bible.
-His transitions of the bible made it easier for ordinary people.
-Known for writings about the jews
-He left his studies to become a monk.

-Henry VIII
-Had 6 Wives
-Henry VIII divorced his first wife because she couldn't have boys.
-Is the creator of the Church of England, which was created after the pope wouldn't grant him a divorce.
-Died in 1547
-Had a wife beheaded because he thought she was cheating.

Great logs! The only suggestion I have is to write about more Renaissance men other than Sir Raleigh.
